URGENT IMPORTANT MESSAGES TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS.

AUSTRALIA POST TEMPORARY BANS ON DELIVERY OF PARCELS TO THE USA AND PUERTO RICO.

Australia Post (which is our preferred carrier of shipping orders) has announced a temporary halt to the transport of parcels to the USA and Puerto Rico effective immediately due to the new the new tariffs announced by the US government. This ban will remain in effect whilst Australia Post reviews the effect of the implications of the new tariffs and they can implement a strategy to circumvent them. It is also understood that most private courier services have also halted deliveries to those two regions whilst they also investigate the effect of the tariffs. This means that Mustang Records is not able to ship any orders to those regions at this time. We apologize to all our customers in those regions, however, this ban is totally out of our control. As soon as we receive notification from Australia Post of the resumption of shipping to those regions we will advise you accordingly. Please note: this ban only applies to the USA and Puerto Rico. No other regions are effected.

NEW POSTAGE RATES.

It is with considerable regret that Mustang Records has been forced to increase postage rates on all orders inline with Australia Post increases for the carriage and delivery of all letters and parcels as approved by the Communications Minister. As of July 1, 2025 postage rates for the carriage and delivery of parcels within Australia have increased by 1.95%. The increase in the cost of carriage and delivery of parcels internationally is set at 3.25%. Further to this, as of July 17, 2025 there will come into effect an increase in the domestic letter rate from $1.50 AUD to $1.70 AUD. As we are able to ship a number of orders within Australia as large letters, inline with Australia Post classifications, at a lower rate than shipping as parcels there will in turn be an increase in the shipping cost of orders which can be shipped as large letters. All international orders for the purchase of CDs, DVDs and records must be shipped as parcels following an agreement between international postal authorities several years ago. The new postal charges for the shipping of parcels is already reflected in the checkout. The new postal charges for the shipping of orders than can be shipped as large letters will be reflected in the checkout as of midnight on July 16.
