THE PATROL: Written and directed by former soldier, Tom Petch, “The Patrol” provides the antidote to the war action film. A psychological drama, the film explores the relationships between a group of British soldiers as they grow disillusioned with the Afghan war. Based on a true story.

FORCE 10 FROM NAVARONE:Returning from their successful mission, the destruction of the guns of Navarone, Mallory and Miller (Edward Fox) are sent to Yugoslavia on another almost impossible assignment. During their journey, they join up with Force 10, a group of tough American commandos led by the daring Lt. Colonel Barnsby (Harrison Ford). But, on arrival in Yugoslavia, they are captured by the Germans, and failure of the mission seems certain.

TEARS OF THE SUN: A career soldier is forced to choose between following orders and saving lives. Bruce Willis is Lt. A. K. Waters, a veteran Navy S.E.A.L. who is sent with his elite team into troubled central Africa to escort Dr. Lena Kendricks (Monica Bellucci) to safety. CASUALTIES OF WAR: Michael J. Fox plays Eriksson, a member of an American squadron stationed in Southeast Asia. Sean Penn co-stars as Meserve, the squadron sergeant, who vows revenge after his best friend is killed. He orders his men to invade a village and “requisition” a young Vietnamese girl who is repeatedly, gagged and gang raped. Eriksson refuses to participate in these atrocities, and he does his best to console the girl and to attempt to free her. Before this can happen, however, Meserve orders another man to kill the girl.

BITTER VICTORY: A World War 11 drama starring Richard Burton and Curt Jurgens as Captain Leith and Major Brand, a pair of British army officers assigned to execute a daring commando raid on the Libyan stronghold of General Rommel. Even before the mission begins, the tension between the two is evident. This is further exacerbated when Brand learns that Leith and his wife were once romantically involved.
