WITH THE EMERGENCE OF ROCK'N'ROLL IN THE EARLY 1950s MANY COUNTRY MUSIC ARTISTS OR HILLBILLY SINGERS AS THEY WERE REFERRED BY FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO MAKE A LIVING PLAYING THEIR BRAND OF HILLBILLY MUSIC AND SO THEY ADAPTED THEIR MUSIC TO FIT WTH THE NEW MUSIC WHICH SAW THE RISE IN COUNTRY BOOGIE AND ROCKABILLY. VERY FEW OF THE HILLBILLY SINGERS SURVIVED THIS ONSLAUGHT AND FADED INTO OBSCURITY, HOWEVER, IN THEIR EFFORTS TO APPEAL TO THE YOUNGER GENERATIONS THEY RECORDED SOME GREAT (NOT ALL MIND YOU) UPTEMPO HILLBILLY MUSIC WHICH OVER THE YEARS HAS BEEN RELEASED BY VARIOUS RECORD LABELS SUCH AS BEAR FAMILY, ACE, STAR-CLUB, ROLLERCOASTER AND MANY OTHER LABELS WITH VARYING DEGREES OF SUCCESS. OTHER RECORD LABELS RELEASED ONE OR TWO OR PERHAPS MORE COMPILATIONS AND THEY TO FADED INTO OBSCURITY. THIS ALBUM RELEASE IS BY ONE SUCH RECORD LABEL AND FEATURES 16 RELATIVELY OBSCURE HLLBILLY BOOGIE / ROCKABILLY TRACKS.
THE SLEEVE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION BORDERING ON MINT WITH VIRTUALLY NO DAMAGE AND THE RECORD IS AS CLOSE TO MINT CONDITION AS CAN BE.
