REVIEW: The Best Of The Flatt & Scruggs TV Show is a series of DVDs drawn from shows that aired during the late '50s and early '60s. Never available before, these show feature Flatt & Scruggs in their prime with their group, The Foggy Mountain Boys, playing many of their most famous songs as well as many other bluegrass classics. The shows have a great down-home feeling with their easy-going demeanor and warm humour, both of which compliment the music to produce a thoroughly entertaining show. Bear in mind that the footage is vintage and not in pristine condition. Viewed from fairly close up quality looks a little grainy, however, viewed from a comfortable distance comes up quite well and is very easy to watch. Audio is excellent. GREAT *****
