REVIEW: A one-off reunion show in California in July 2003 created such a good vibe between the three known as The Stray Cats, that the life-long friends from New York decided to put their solo projects on hold and mount a month-long summer tour of Europe to celebrate both the Rockabilly trio’s 25 year career and the 50th birthday of rock and roll.

 

So much excitement was generated when the Cats announced the tour that it was decided that one of the performances should be documented for a DVD release. It didn’t take long for all the parties involved to decide that London’s Brixton Academy show was the one to get. The result is this DVD: the first ever officially sanctioned live Stray Cats DVD.
