REVIEW: How is it possible! Each year Deke’s Guitar Geek Festival keeps getting bigger and better! This year was a tidal wave of surf and country twang with a side order of rockin’ blues and funk. Junior Brown blew the house down, The Trashmen proved that the bird is the word, and Skip Pitts was a bad mother******hush your mouth! Davie Allan brought the fuzz. ZZ Listening brought the beards and Joel Paterson & The Modern Sounds were as clean as they come. The bass players got the chance to take the stage. Deke showing off his weird guitars and The Pan-Americans brought some cool South American vibe into the room. In summary, it was like an all-you-can-eat feast where you gorge yourself on some familiar treats and some exotic new fare and leave stuffed to the gills! GREAT *****
